As I got over enthusiastic myself about sailboats I had to dive deeper in the adventurous world of sailing. My first step was to exchange my comfortable apartment ‘on the hard’ for a nomadic lifestyle on a sailing yacht. Then I fell in love with a sailboat in Greece and wanted to start my own sailing business in The Netherlands.

I planned to sail all the way back from Lefkada, Greece to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to share my passion with friends, family and everyone else that’s interested. Chartering a sail yacht is the most common way to get on board a sailing yacht yourself. This allows you to get into sailing and enjoy being on the water most easily and without many strings attached.
You pay the rent for the weekend, week or weeks you prefer, invite your family, friends or colleagues and decide your arrangement: adventurous sailing, sunny sailing with snacks and drinks or not, learning the ropes or any other way you would like to see yourself on one of the Sea Rover yachts.
